Company harvests African nuts for biofuel

Jan. 2, 2017 - An East African company is harvesting commonly found croton nuts which contain high concentrations of oil and protein and processing them as ethical biofuel.

Eco Fuels Kenya (EFK) formed in 2012 and has doubled production each year up to 1,000 tons of nuts in 2016. The company owner tells CNN they are ready to scale up production.
