Pellet technology is really working
Mar. 12, 2010 – There is much activity on the world's pellet markets at the moment. World Bioenergy 2010 is highlighting this fast developing bioenergy sector during two sessions focusing solely on pellets. Among other areas the show will highlight the world's pellet markets, new technologies for pellet production, torrefaction technologies, enhanced production processes, new policy frameworks and much more.

World Bioenergy's stated goal is to give attendees the most interesting and inspiring topics in this field. Pellet combustion technology will also be an important and integrated part of the fairground where you can see how pellet technology is really working.

As part of the pre and post conference tours, and the daily study tours, there will be a number of visits to pellet plants. Tour A1 from Stockholm/Arlanda to Jönköping on May 24, will make a stop at BooForssjö pellet factory, a medium size unit integrated with a saw mill. Tour E1 from Jönköping to Copenhagen/Kastrup will stop at Derome in Kinnared, a relatively new pellet plant, and also visit a large heat and power plant using pellets. Daily tours will be arranged to a pellet plant south of Jönköping.
