OPEC outlook includes biomass growth
Nov. 13, 2011 – OPEC's 2011 World Oil Outlook calls for higher average crude prices in the coming decade than those forecast last year, but also predicts a growing role for non-OPEC supplies as well as alternatives such as biomass.

The report released this week predicts that the global energy mix will continue to change in the coming 25 years. According to OPEC, the supply of oil will grow by 0.8% a year until 2035, versus faster growth in renewable energy sources (7.5%), biomass (3.3%) and gas (2%) during the same period. The full report, as well as an executive summary can be found here.
