LeMar Industries acquires Riley Equipment
Written by LeMar Industries
Jan. 5, 2012, Des Moines, IA - Moving forward in its plan for strategic growth and expansion, LeMar Industries has acquired leading material handling manufacturer Riley Equipment.

“With this move we take LeMar’s core product offerings to the next level with significant expansion benefiting customers immediately,” says Robert Martin, President. “Our partners can be confident in an enhanced experience marked by LeMar’s signature service and flexibility.”

The move expands and strengthens LeMar’s already robust product line to include bucket elevators, chain drag conveyors (horizontal, inclined, and vertical), screw conveyors, distributors and related accessories.

In addition, like LeMar and its subsidiary Hall Industries, part of Riley’s strength lies in its ability to design and fabricate custom equipment to customer needs, in addition to standard product lines. “We intend to expand on this capability and capacity immediately,” says Robert Martin.

Headquartered in Vincennes, Indiana, Riley Equipment was founded by Charles Riley in 1965 and now serves agriculture and a wide variety of industrial markets both domestic and international.

LeMar Industries is an agricultural as well as sand & gravel design and manufacturing operation providing: support towers, catwalks, temporary storage, transport conveyors, bulk weighers, drive over conveyors, open belt conveyors, grain reclaim service and super structures along with specialty fabricated equipment. The LeMar Industries family of companies also includes Hall Industries, a cutting-edge design and metal fabrication shop, and Midwest Bearing, a leading bearing and power transmission aftermarket supply house. LeMar was founded in 1982 by Robert and Sharron Martin. For more information, visit www.lemarindustries.com and www.rileyequipment.com.
