Taylor Biomass receives approval
Written by David Manly
May 15, 2012, Montgomery, NY - Taylor Biomass Energy LLC has received final phase three approval for the 21 MW biomass gasification plant.

According to an article in Biomass Power and Thermal, the Montgomery town board made their decision on May 10th to allow major construction to begin in the middle of June. The road to construction has been difficult, with potential losses of funding, securing feedstock contracts and court decisions plaguing the project for years.

“There have been many steps to bring us to this point; many years of work,” said Jim Taylor Jr., president and CEO. “It is time to stop wasting our waste and Taylor Biomass Energy knows just how to do that.”
