Conference to explore climate policies in the prairies

Sept. 12, 2016 - An upcoming EUCI conference will explore the impacts of new climate policies and programs being implemented in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Alberta and Saskatchewan’s Clean Energy Transition – Compliance Strategies and New Development Opportunities, will take place on Sept. 26-27 in Calgary, and will feature a host of speakers who will discuss the provinces’ 2030 renewable generation targets.

Designed for utilities, independent power producers, and other entities subject to provincial programs, the conference will examine, among other things, new renewable development and environmental market opportunities resulting from the provincial carbon and renewable policy regimes.

The conference is supported by the Wood Pellet Association of Canada.
