$40M in cleantech funding available

March 23, 2016 - CCEMC and SDTC are offering a unique joint funding opportunity to Canadian clean technology innovators and entrepreneurs. There is up to $40 million in funding available, with a maximum of $10 million available to individual GHG reducing technologies that are deployable in Alberta.

The invitation is for Canadian Small and Medium Sized Enterprises with fewer than 500 employees, and less than $50 million in annual gross revenue, that are developing Energy Efficiency and Conservation, New and Better Uses of Carbon Dioxide, Methane Reduction, or Cleaner Energy Production and Usage projects.

Eligible projects include advancing pre-commercial technology for GHG reduction with a current Technology Readiness Level from 4-7, and includes prototype development, field pilots, and commercial demonstration projects. Projects may take place anywhere in Canada, but applicants must demonstrate how the proposed project will result in GHG reductions, commercialization, enterprise growth, and economic growth in Alberta and Canada.

Deadline for applications is April 13, 2016 at 8 p.m. EST.
