Jan. 15, 2015 - The cellulosic ethanol industry in Iowa is making progress, says an editorial in the Omaha World-Herald. Progress has centred around two plants with a third set to open this year.
The opinion-piece ends with a warning to the federal government that any change in policy will threaten efforts for energy diversification. “Energy diversification is in the national interest, which is why the federal government should be wary of undercutting cellulosic ethanol production at the very time it’s making significant progress.”
