Lewis Mouldings continues to grow

July 19, 2016 – A Nova Scotia company is now in its second straight year of expansion as it tries to keep pace with rising demand for its waste wood home-heating product.

Lewis Mouldings transforms Eastern white pine into trim used in home construction and turns the leftover sawdust and wood waste into Fiber Fuel compressed bricks – a firewood alternative.

In the coming months, Lewis Mouldings plans to invest in a compression machine and a packaging system.

Last year it purchased a biomass dryer and a compression machine.
