White paper proposes co-firing to save coal jobs

Jan. 3, 2017 - FutureMetrics' latest white paper offers a plan to sustain coal mining jobs, create tens of thousands of new jobs in the forest products sector, and stimulate billions of dollars of new investment in new U.S. manufacturing plants.
The paper proposes a policy for helping the U.S. coal producers that is based on proven low cost modifications of coal fired power stations, to allow them to blend industrial wood pellets with coal.
