EU minister touts tree planting

Feb. 4, 2015 – In a blog post on Huffington Post, Labour Member of the European Parliament for the North East of England Paul Brannen says managed forests are the answer to climate change.
“If we could increase our forest cover from around 40% of our landmass to 45% we could absorb more carbon, creating jobs at the same time,” he says.
