4Leaf Corp aims to build torrefied pellet plant in McBride

June 29, 2018 - Development company 4Leaf Corp is planning to build a torrefied pellet production facility in McBride, B.C., as part of a larger project that would include a power plant, sawmill and tree nursery.
4Leaf Corp CEO Jason Janus presented on the project to the community at an open house last week, reports The Rocky Mountain Goat.
According to the company’s website, the bio-coal pellet plant will produce 140,000 metric tonnes a year, while the power plant will produce 15 MWe.
