Alberta seen as a leader in development of carbon capture utilization and storage technology

Tackling climate change is too great an effort to be undertaken alone by a single country, government or industry. It takes a “village” to be able to effectively cut emissions.

Some of the world’s most promising technologies are being developed in Alberta, including renewable energy such as geothermal systems and hydrogen solutions.

Alberta is seen as a world leader in accelerating carbon capture utilization and storage. Such technology is helping to reduce emissions, strengthen the economy and create jobs.
