Atikokan coal-to-biomass conversion update
The conversion of Atikokan Generating Station in Atikokan, Ont., from coal to wood biomass is moving ahead on schedule, with commissioning as a biomass-fired generating station in 2013, if the conversion proceeds as planned, reports the Atikokan Progress.
