Atlantic BIOCON postponed to September

In a letter to its partners and community, BioNB provided an update on its operations during the COVID-19 pandemic:

We would like to provide you with an update on BioNB’s operations during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. BioNB is following the advice of provincial and federal government authorities on how to stay healthy and protect the people in our community. This means that we are still open for business, although our work will be done remotely.

We remain committed to providing you with all our regular services while protecting the health of our employees and the public. We will continue to monitor the situation and we encourage you to do as well. As the situation progresses, our priorities, capabilities and response time may change, but we will provide you with regular updates on our operations through our social media accounts.

That said, given the current advice from our government and health officials, as of right now, we are also choosing to postpone our yearly Atlantic BIOCON event to a later date this year. We are still holding it at the Rodd Brudenell River Resort on P.E.I. and the new dates have been set for September 10-11. This decision was not taken lightly, but global health and precautions must take precedence. We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope to have your continued support in September.

We encourage you to subscribe to at least one of the official Government of New Brunswick and/or CBC accounts either on Twitter or YouTube so you too can get the most up-to-date and credible information possible.

Again, we are still here for you and should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any one of our staff members.

Stay safe, stay healthy, stay educated.
