
B.C. axes biofuel power plant plan in Vancouver

Sept. 27, 2016 - The B.C. Utilities Commission has firmly rejected a proposal from a Vancouver private power company to build a low-carbon power plant that would likely use biofuel from wood waste.
The commission expressed concern that company, Creative Energy, would be the sole option as a power source for new buildings in the city.
