developing biomass technology that will utilize numerous waste streams
to create both syngas and biochar.

The process can be used with any waste stream according to an article in Biomass Power and Thermal, but the company has stated that they prefer ice hulls, wood pellets, chicken litter, grass pellets and dried sewage sludge to be used within the flow pyrolysis unit.

Whitfield Biochar LLC is currently completing the final stages of development, with installation of beta systems near the end of this year.
