The biodiesel is being produced at the Cowichan Biodiesel
Co-operative manufacturing facility in Bings Creek, using used vegetable oils
from area restaurants. The Bings Creek manufacturing site will also be home to
the new pumping station.

Cowichan hopes that this will be a system that can be used
at other colleague co-ops in Victoria, Nelson and Vancouver.
