Scientist’s blog rebuts report

Jan. 29, 2015 - A blog written by a senior scientist on the Union of Concerned Scientists website says a lot has changed to make biofuels a better choice in the past seven years of scientific discovery.
“Agricultural markets are more flexible, deforestation has fallen in some key areas (Brazil in particular) and biofuels production is getting more efficient. The overall result is that biofuels are getting cleaner over time, and most biofuels are cleaner than gasoline,” Jeremy Martin writes.
