U.S. ethanol exports set record

According to information from the Renewable Fuels Association, the mark smashes the previous high for February of 76.3 million gallons in 2012. The 85.2 million gallons exported also marks a 24 per cent jump over the exports reported in January.

Canada was the third largest importer of U.S. ethanol in February, importing approximately 17 per cent of the 85.2 million gallons. Only Brazil (28%) and India (20%) imported more in February.
