Biofuels development in Quebec needs federal support: Bloc Québécois leader

The Bloc Québécois wants the federal government to support Quebec’s forestry sector.
The Bloc has outlined a number of proposals to support the industry, including developing biofuels from wood.
By re-energizing the forestry sector, Bloc leader Yves-François Blanchet says, about 16,000 jobs could be created over the next 10 years in addition to reducing the province’s greenhouse gas emissions.
