June 19, 2018 - Fuel Delivery Services, Inc. (FDS), a bulk transporter of refined petroleum products based in Stockton, Calif., recently switched their Stockton based fleet of trucks to Neste MY Renewable Diesel. FDS provides transportation services seven days a week, 365 days a year to a variety of clients, from small jobbers to major oil companies.
May 8, 2018 - The Pasadena Fire Department, a California city northeast of Los Angeles, has switched much of its fleet of apparatus from operating on petroleum diesel to using Neste MY Renewable Diesel. The department currently operates one truck, four engines and four Rescue Ambulances on renewable diesel and plans to transition all remaining apparatus to renewable diesel by 2019.
Nov. 9, 2017 - Darling Ingredients Inc. and Valero Energy Corporation announced today that in anticipation of growing demand for renewable diesel due to the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and global low carbon markets, they will initiate an engineering and construction cost review to analyze an additional project growing annual production capacity to 550 million gallons at the Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) facility in Norco, LA.

Jan. 19, 2017 - Renewable energy company BIOX, in a joint venture with World Energy BIOX Biofuels LLC (WEBB), has completed the commissioning of its 90 million U.S. gallon (USG) nameplate capacity biodiesel production facility in Houston, Texas. The facility started operating at full capacity in December 2016.
Oct. 13, 2016 - The co-owners of U.S. biodiesel company Triton Energy LLC pleaded guilty to defrauding the U.S. government’s renewable fuel support program and a tax credit program in an Indiana court this week.
Sept. 16, 2016 - The Quebec government is contributing a grant of up to $1.5 million to Bioénergie La Tuque (BELT) to support techno-economic feasibility studies. The studies are a preliminary step prior to the development of a forest-based biorefinery planned for 2023.
Aug. 31, 2016 -BIOX Corporation announced that in connection with its previously announced acquisition of a 50 million litre nameplate capacity biodiesel facility in Sombra, Ont., the company has obtained a $1.8 million credit facility from Farm Credit Canada. The credit facility is secured by a mortgage on the facility in Sombra is for a term of one year and bears interest at a rate of 4.75% per annum.The Sombra facility is located on a 21-acre facility near Sarnia, Ont., with excellent logistics, including on site rail. Originally constructed in 2009, the facility has not achieved nameplate capacity due to working capital and market challenges, and is currently not in production. The funds from the credit facility form part of the company's anticipated expenditure of an additional $5.0 million over the next nine months for upgrades to the facility that will improve the facility's efficiency and enable the use of a broader range of low carbon intensity feedstocks, such as animal fats and recycled cooking oils. The company expects the facility to be in production in time for the 2017 blend season in Ontario, during the second quarter of calendar 2017.
