Nakusp council in British Columbia plans to spend $22,500 to endorse an alternative-energy system that could heat public buildings in the community.

An agreement has been reached with Urban Systems for strategic and technical services for the biomass project of a high-tech boiler to be installed near the arena to burn local wood waste for heat generation.
