Jan. 6, 2012 – BioTalent Canada has broadened its leadership team with the
appointment of François Schubert as Chair of the BioTalent Canada Board
of Directors effective immediately.

He succeeds Mr. Bob Ingratta of
Fast-Trak Strategies who will remain on the Board as Past Chair. Mr.
Schubert is the General Manager and Chief Administrative Officer at The

of national and international experience in academia, research,
biotechnology and Big pharma to BioTalent Canada.

Mr. Schubert is poised to realize a key strategic plan originally
initiated under Bob Ingratta's leadership and champion BioTalent Canada
as the human resources hub of the bio-economy.
"Canada's bio-economy spans a vast range of industries and contributes
6.4% of the national GDP," he says. "It gives me immense satisfaction to
be part of an economic powerhouse that represents the second-highest
concentration of biotechnology in the world"

"As a global example of biotechnology research and innovation, we
take our responsibility at BioTalent Canada very seriously. Research is
gathered that fuels the bio-economy by providing insight into the skills
being demanded by the sector," adds Mr. Schubert. "This insight is used
for skills development information and in turn provides mutual
opportunities for both employers and the work force."
