Brandon University upgrading micro-analytical facility to support cleantech

Brandon University (BU) is upgrading its Micro-analytical facility, which specializes in providing research and support services for sustainable resource exploration, cleantech development and clean infrastructure development in rural and northern Manitoba.

According to a government press release, the university is upgrading the facility’s building, equipment and software to expand its analytical testing services and supports to industry. Specifically, the changes will help support the environmental, construction and mining resource industries test and research sustainable cleantech solutions.

The federal government is investing $335,000 to help BU upgrade the facility and create up to 16 jobs.
