Call for presenters for Joint International Conference & Symposium on Bio-Economy

March 11, 2019 - Lakehead University’s Biorefining Research Institute (BRI) is now accepting submissions from industry and academia for its prestigious International Forest Biorefining Conference (IFBC) and 4th International Symposium on Lignocellulosic Materials (ISLM), to be held June 9-12, 2019.


IFBC and ISLM are the world’s foremost gatherings for the unveiling discussion and exploration of the latest research and advancements in Biomass and Biorefining. Its delegates and presenters comprise globally respected scientists, researchers and businesses who are shaping the development of the growing Bioeconomy.

The selected submissions will be integrated with Academic, Government and Industry presentations within specific themes throughout the two conferences. The aim is to bring together individuals and organizations from diverse disciplines and sectors who are involved in ground-breaking research, policy, practice and business.

Lakehead University’s Biorefining Research Institute (BRI) looks forward to receiving academic and industry contributions that address new and growing aspects of Biomass; Biorefining; Biofuels; Bioproducts; and Bio-economy. All submissions are peer-reviewed by a panel of professional experts.
