Canada, B.C. to assume leading roles in emergence of green hydrogen

Both Canada and British Columbia are expected to take on leading roles in the emergence of hydrogen as a cleaner alternative to fossil fuels.
The demand for hydrogen has been sparked by governmental policies that encourage the decarbonization of current fuel and energy systems.
In spite of experiencing forward momentum, hydrogen is still facing a number of challenges including a price premium, a lack of infrastructure and compatibility issues with infrastructure and appliances.
