
Canadian BioDesign Conference touts strength of biomass in Canada

Sept. 14, 2018 - The inaugural Canadian BioDesign Conference held in Sarnia, Ont., this week brought together around 180 people to discuss the development of bio-based materials in Canada.
Speakers including Ford Motor Co.’s Debbie Mielewski stressed the strong position Canada is in to become a leader in developing the bioeconomy, the Sarnia Observer reports.
“We’re looking all the way out into the future, what alternatives are there . . . and which ones do we think we can bring to reality,” she said.
