Chevron finalizes acquisition of beyond6 CNG fueling network

Chevron has closed its previously announced acquisition of full ownership of Beyond6, LLC and its nationwide network of compressed natural gas stations from Mercuria Energy Trading and Beyond6 founder Andrew West.

Chevron announced the acquisition in late November, stating renewable natural gas is an essential part of its portfolio of solutions for a lower carbon future.

“Chevron has seen strong demand for our RNG-to-CNG fuel offering from new and existing customers,” Andy Walz, Chevron’s president of Americas Products, said in the release.
