Domtar’s Kamloops mill gets provincial funding for bioproducts strategy

Domtar’s pulp mill in Kamloops has received $194,000 from the B.C. government’s Supply Chain Resiliency Grant program.
It was one of 24 projects in the province to receive up to $400,000 toward improving British Columbia’s manufacturing ecosystem.
The funding will be used toward creating a strategy for bio-based replacements for petroleum-based packaging material.
