Biomass North Forum 2018 to check-up on the bioeconomy

July 26, 2018
By Biomass North Development Centre

July 26, 2018 - The third annual Biomass North Forum is once again taking place on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Ont., on Oct. 16-18.

With this year’s theme of Mapping Canada’s Bioeconomy: Drivers, Roadblocks and Bridges, #BNDC2018 will serve as a cross-country checkup to showcase how government, industry, academia and communities throughout the country are navigating towards a sustainable bioeconomy future. Join us in discovering how growth in the sector will help Canada transition to a low-carbon economy, and why a competitive national bioeconomy is critical to the success of the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change.

Participants will hear from leading voices in the sector on key regional and national themes, network with future partners and customers, and build the collaborations vital to the success of their projects. In addition to our expert panels, pre-conference workshops and industry tours, a trade show and exhibition will demonstrate technologies and services in support of the sector, and our 3rd annual Awards Gala will celebrate the successes of leaders and projects in the Canadian bioeconomy.

Join us for this high-impact conference! For more information on #BNDC2018, visit bndc2018.biomassnorth.org/.
