Aug. 28, 2017 - Canada’s bioeconomy finds itself in challenging times in 2017. From trade uncertainty over softwood lumber and pellet off-take agreements, to rapidly changing policy frameworks across Canada, to the growing leadership role of indigenous communities in the bioeconomy – project leaders often feel like they are aiming at a constantly moving target.

Those same leaders also know that with change and challenge come innovation and opportunity.

The Biomass North Forum 2017 will bring together bioeconomy leaders from multiple sectors, jurisdictions, and disciplines to share their insights into the challenges AND opportunities that are ripe for harvesting. Participants will hear from leading voices in the sector on key issues, network with potential partners and customers, and build the collaborations vital to the success of their projects. A trade show and exhibition will demonstrate new technologies and services in support of the bioeconomy, and our 2nd Awards Dinner will celebrate the successes of key projects and initiatives in the sector.

Registration is now open for Biomass North Forum 2017, taking place Oct. 11-12 in Thunder Bay, Ont. Learn more and register here.
