Enbridge signs into partnership with Shell, Vanguard to produce RNG, hydrogen

Enbridge Inc. has signed into a partnership with Royal Dutch Shell and Vanguard Renewables to produce renewable natural gas (RNG) and hydrogen.

The Canadian pipeline operator will purchase two billion cubic feet of RNG from Vanguard and will work with Shell on the potential production of green and blue hydrogen.

Enbridge set emission reduction targets last year, planning to become net-zero by 2050.
