Feds open call for studies on carbon capture technologies

The government of Canada today announced a new call for expressions of interest to support carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS).

The call will support front-end engineering and design (FEED) studies that could reduce the impact of carbon emissions.

Under the federal government’s 2021 budget, $319 million will be invested in the research, development and demonstration of CCUS technologies to advance its commercial viability.
