Finns offer Ontario bioeconomy solutions

Jan. 31, 2017 - A delegation of biomass companies from Finland were in Northern Ontario last week to share lessons learned from the growth of the Finnish bioeconomy.
The delegation, organized by Finpro’s Waste to Energy & Bioenergy Growth Program, attended the Building Biomass Value Chains Workshop hosted by Biomass North on Jan. 24.
Beyond sharing information, the delegation’s goal was to look for research projects and companies to partner with for joint ventures.
