April 17, 2014, Prince George, B.C. - The International Bioenergy Society, FPInnovations and Wood Waste 2 Rural Heat are offering international delegates at the 6th International Bioenergy Conference and Exhibition a chance to participate in a private driving tour of forestry and bioenergy operations throughout the province of British Columbia.

April 17, 2014, Prince George, B.C. – The International
Bioenergy Society, FPInnovations and Wood Waste 2 Rural Heat are offering
international delegates at the 6th International Bioenergy Conference and
Exhibition a chance to participate in a private driving tour of forestry and
bioenergy operations throughout the province of British Columbia.

 

Hosted exclusively for international delegates to the 6th
International Bioenergy Conference and Exhibition, this is an opportunity to
get a first-hand look at how the bioenergy and forest industries operate.
Beginning in Vancouver on June 8th, the tour will take delegates through the
interior of the province, with industry stops including a solid waste
processing facility, a sawmill, power plan, pellet plant, an active logging
operation, a pulp mill cogeneration facility and Canada's Green University, as
well as sightseeing opportunities and unique cultural experiences.

Eligibility

Participants must be registered to attend the 6th
International Bioenergy Conference and Exhibition in Prince George, British
Columbia (www.bioenergyconference.org). The tour will include the opportunity
to participate in the conference as well as the International Partnerships
Forum and Business-to-Business Meetings held the day before.

 

Cost

* The cost to participate in the International Delegates
Tour is CAD $595 plus Goods and Services Tax.

* The registration fee covers three nights accommodation and
all transportation.

* Delegates are responsible for meals and incidental
expenses.

* Delegates are responsible for registering for the 6th
International Bioenergy Conference (CAD $495 before May 13, CAD $595 after May
13).

* Delegates are responsible for their own accommodation
costs in Prince George (June 10-14).
