FutureMetrics updates interactive map with 2021 trade data on pellet flows

FutureMetrics’ popular interactive “Sankey” map has been updated with complete 2021 trade data on pellet flows.

The map shows where Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus sent their pellet fuel in 2021. Those three countries exported about 3.2 million metric tonnes in 2021.

FutureMetrics’ interactive map allows you to see global trade flows in wood pellets for the year 2021. Maps for trade flows in 2020 and 2019 can also be viewed.

You can look at both exports and imports. For exporting countries, you will see where they sent their pellet fuel in 2021. For importing countries, you will see where they procured their pellet fuel in 2021.
