Oct. 16, 2009 – Hamer introduces its Model 2090 next-generation industrial bagger.
Continual and reliable production is the goal of every automated bagging line.
Using its experience in building over 600 industrial form, fill, and seal
machines, Hamer has developed the first high-speed, high reliability, low
operator interaction machine for automating industrial bagging: the Hamer Model
2090. It features an all-new main belt path, jaw, and top-seal design that runs
at speeds of up to 34 bags/minute.

With less than half the moving parts of previous designs and a 90% reduction in operator
adjustments, the Hamer Model 2090 provides consistent bagging operation. Bag
change over from large to small sizes can be completed in less than 15 minutes.
Double sealed pulleys, SEW Eurodrive motors, 24 VDC controls, and heavy-duty
air cylinders and valves all add to the machine’s uptime performance. A variety
of bag features such as handles, recloseable seals, corner seals, and
printers/coders are available.
