Learn about pellet certifications at WPAC 2017

June 19, 2017 - Get the most up-to-date information on wood pellet certifications at this year’s Wood Pellet Association of Canada AGM and Conference taking place in Ottawa Sept. 18-20.

A pre-conference certifications workshop led by Gilles Gauthier with the European Pellet Council, Chris Wiberg of Biomass Energy Laboratory and Luut Brink with Control Union, will cover CANplus and ENplus pellet quality certifications.

Topics will include the world of biofuel standards; ENplus market overview in Europe; U.S. EPA’s new performance standards; procedures to become certified; role of inspectors and much more.

Carsten Huljus and Simon Armstrong with the Sustainable Biomass Program will follow with a workshop on the SBP framework; data-tracking system; costs; key players and much more.
