Get the most up-to-date information on wood pellet certifications at this year’s Wood Pellet Association of Canada AGM and Conference taking place in Ottawa Sept. 24-25.

Come out a day early and take part in the two pre-conference workshops on quality and sustainability certifications.

A morning workshop led by Gilles Gauthier with the European Pellet Council and Luut Brink with Control Union will bring you the latest on CANplus and ENplus pellet quality certifications. Topics will include an update on the programs, steps to becoming certified, ENplus quality management fundamentals, and more.

The afternoon workshop is dedicated to the Sustainable Biomass Program (SBP). SBP’s Carsten Huljus, professional forester Brenda Hopkin, and INCOS Strategies president Nicolas Blanchette will cover: SBP basics, steps to becoming certified, regional risk assessments in Canada, fibre supply tracking software demonstration, and SBP audit issues.
