May 10, 2011, Vancouver – Lignol Energy
Corporation has recently begun to sell tonnage quantities of its proprietary
High-Performance Lignin to its development partners for industrial production
trials.

“Lignol has a unique capacity to
manufacture and supply High-Performance Lignin in sufficient quantities for
industrial trials,” says Ross MacLachlan, president and CEO. “With the
manufacturing capabilities of our pilot-scale biorefinery and our existing
inventory of High-Performance Lignin, we are well positioned to develop
commercial markets.”

“These capabilities, coupled with our
innovative applications development expertise, position Lignol as a preferred
partner with companies looking to enhance their business by incorporating
renewable chemicals in their product lines,” adds MacLachlan.

Industrial trials are an important step in
the process of obtaining commercial validation and customer acceptance of
products incorporating High-Performance Lignin. The process involves months of
laboratory-scale product applications testing by Lignol and its development
partners, culminating with industrial production trials.
