October 21, 2014, Vancouver, B.C. – There are still a few spots remaining for the Sustainable Biomass Partnership workshop being offered as part of this year’s Wood Pellet Association of Canada Conference & AGM next month in Vancouver.
October 21, 2014, Vancouver, B.C. – There are still a few
spots remaining for the Sustainable Biomass Partnership workshop being offered
as part of this year’s Wood Pellet Association of Canada Conference & AGM
next month in Vancouver.
The SBP has developed a set of certification standards for
demonstrating that woody biomass supplied to power generators in Europe is both
legally and sustainably sourced.
Executive Director Peter Wilson and Technical Director Simon
Armstrong will be on-hand for the one-day workshop to review the technical aspects
and implementation of the standards, including Supplier Base Evaluation and
Chain of Custody requirements.
The workshop runs on Monday, November 17th from
9:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, the
same location as the WPAC Conference & AGM.
