Mackenzie bioenergy encounters electrical issues

October 14, 2014, Mackenzie, B.C. – The commercial 0peration of the Mackenzie bioenergy project has been put on hold after electrical issues appeared during the 72-hour run test.

October 14, 2014, Mackenzie, B.C. – The commercial 0peration
of the Mackenzie bioenergy project has been put on hold after electrical issues
appeared during the 72-hour run test.

 

The test commenced on October 11th, and performed
well through the first 24 hours. However, Conifex Power Limited Partnership (CPLP)
subsequently halted the test prior to completion as a result of a failure of
certain newly installed electrical equipment.

Conifex is currently working with its contractors and equipment
suppliers to remediate the matter and will re-schedule the 72 hour test as soon
as appropriate thereafter.
