Manitoba college shows off biomass boiler

May 23, 2017 - A Christian college in Manitoba with a biomass-fuelled boiler is among a handful of green projects highlighted by Sustainable Building Manitoba during its annual tour.
Providence University College has been using biomass for district heat since 2011. Business professor Bruce Duggan told the Winnipeg Free Press the college made the move to greener heat sources for financial reasons rather than environmental ones.
