
Massachusetts plans to subsidize biomass fuel

Aug. 11, 2017 - Massachusetts lawmakers are proposing new rules that would provide financial incentives to use woody biomass as fuel. The rules would classify wood chips and pellets as renewable fuel.
State energy officials are wrapping the last of their public meetings on the proposed regulations this week.
