Feb. 11,
2010, Mikkeli, Finland – MHG Systems Ltd of Finland has received capital
investments from Veraventure Oy and a group of investors. The company produces
bioenergy enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems designed for electricity,
heating, pellets, forest industry, and forest service companies. The service
allows transparency throughout the delivery chain, management of biomass
moisture content, reporting based on the amount of energy, i.e., megawatt
hours, and accounting and invoicing, and can be used via web browser or mobile
devices.

"MHG's
ERP systems allow cost and environmental savings in hard-to-manage supply
chains of biomass-based fuels. Their services allow open and transparent supply
chains for pellet, bioelectricity, bioheat, bioethanol, and biodiesel
production, with features that are becoming international requirements such as
accurate tracking of origin and carbon dioxide. Furthermore, the company's
technical solutions and its business model allow it to provide extensive
services for global markets and to rapidly extend its partner network. This
creates interesting opportunities for investors," says manager Matti
Eskelinen from Veraventure Oy.

"The
investment made by Veraventure and other investors will speed up the
commercialization of MHG's ERP solution in selected and rapidly growing target
markets. The solution is already available in 13 languages. In addition to
money, the new investors will also bring about new business know-how, which is
required especially for achieving rapid international growth," explains
Seppo Huurinainen, managing director of MHG Systems.
