Feb. 14, 2011 – Millson Forestry Service of
Timmins, Ontario, has accepted a wood supply offer from the province of Ontario. The
company will manufacture wood fuel briquettes for domestic and international
markets. In addition, with support from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund
Corporation (NOHFC), the company is putting together a mobile briquette plant.
The plant will be moved to harvest areas to access materials such as tree
branches left by forestry operations, which will be used to make the
briquettes.

Millson Forestry Service is a forestry
management and contracting company that has been operating in northeastern
Ontario since 1980. This project will create and maintain up to 17 jobs when
fully operational.

“We believe that the future success of the
forest industry in Northern Ontario depends on our collective desire and
ability to make the most effective and efficient use of our resource. We are
very pleased that the Ontario Government has created the opportunity for our
company and others to pursue innovative forestry ventures,” says Sue Millson of
Millson Forestry Service.
