Mission pellet plant plan moving forward

July 22, 2014, Mission, B.C. – Plans for a new wood pellet
plant in Mission, B.C. are moving forward as local politicians throw their
support behind the project.

According to a report from the Mission Record, SMG Asset
Canada is working on getting approvals in place for the construction of the
facility.

The company has already addressed some of the community’s
concerns, including issues regarding emissions and pellet dust. SMG has already
acquired land for the project on industrial land in the community.

Mission May Td Adlem has vocally supported the project,
adding that he has been impressed with the company’s commitment to work with
the municipal officials.
