A negotiated sale of the entire Zilkha pellet mill in Selma, Ala. is underway. In addition to machinery and equipment, hundreds of tons of finished product are available for sale.

Assets can be sold as a complete package or by piece. Featured items include two complete lines, truck loadout, river barge loading, Andritz pellet mills, scrubbers, pellet dryers, drag conveyors, bucket elevators, hammer mills, air compressors, pumps, transformers, substations, cyclones and magnets.

The Alabama mill produced more than 240,000 metric tons of black pellets annually. Zilkha black pellets are additive-free and water-resistant, durable, energy-dense and are regarded as an ideal replacement for coal. The pellets serve multiple markets, including the fossil fuel energy market.

Everything is on sale now until all assets have been sold or go to public auction. More than 880 lots are available for purchase, and inspection is by appointment only.
