Biomass North finds LNG incentive a concern

Jan. 4, 2017 - Biomass North is raising concerns about the Ontario government subsidizing liquefied natural gas in rural communities when there are modern wood-based heating solutions.

Dawn Lambe, executive director of Biomass North, told Northern Ontario Business the support for natural gas contradicts the province’s new Climate Change Action Plan. Other heating options should be explored, she said.
